ATHLETIC BOOSTER ACTIVITIES
Concessions. The Athletic Boosters operate the concession stand during sporting events. A committee of members handles scheduling workers from families of each team for the concession stand. Family members and/or friends of the athletes are asked to volunteer to help out at least once during the season in which the athlete participates. The concessions committee makes every effort not to schedule parents in the stand during an event in which their student is participating, but family participation is critical to ensuring the concessions are available during sporting events.
Annual Fundraising Events. The Athletic Boosters participate in--or sponsor several events every year, including Tiger Passes, Publishing the Fall Sports Program, Souvenir/Apparel Sales and our annual Reverse Raffle, as well as other events that may be scheduled over the course of the school year. Ideas for additional fund raising activities are welcome and encouraged.
Facility Improvements. The Athletic Boosters work to foster a spirit of community and also pride in the facilities and surroundings at Ragsdale High School. Besides raising money for improvements in and around the buildings, the Boosters may organize members of the group and the community to help out in a "clean up" day, or work on various projects around the building when appropriate
